Female make up and cosmetics, an unfair advantage?

Have you noticed that the prettiest women (or at least the most popular ones that guys all dive for at night clubs or on the street) seem to be the most fake looking?

These women often do not have a strand of hair they can claim to be of their own natural hair colour and their faces are covered by a well crafted sheen of makeup/cosmetics that is applied so perfectly from their years in the field of faketry that their look almost looks natural, as if they were born that pretty.

From my own curiosity i have asked many of my 'prettier' female friends how long it takes for them to apply this fake layer onto their faces and i am astounded by how long these girls will spend in front of a mirror before they leave the house. They have also become accustomed to their look with the makeup applied, they actually percieve themselves as themselves with the makeup on, not the other way around.

Now the point i'm trying to reach here is that these women get a LOT of attention for being good at applying makeup. So much so that they believe they are godesses worthy of the drooling attention of their sad little male satellite orbiters.

The critical part here is that these women often look awful without the makeup. They go from hot to not very fast, their physical appeal plummets as soon as they wash it all off. Catching them at such a stage is very difficult, it is often only by accident that they will be seen infront of a person without some form of makeup applied.
People often forget that when they worship cover models (not to mention the photoshopping ivolved)that these models have a lot of makeup applied. It's not REALLY THEIR face!!
Without-makeup is the way they were born and it seems unfair that a girl is remembered by people for what she looks like with her makeup applied rather than when it is not.

The most annoying issue here is that makeup increases a girl's "level". She grows to believe she is better than other people because of the fact that she looks oh so pretty with the layer of product that masks her face. This causes her to treat people like crap.

A woman with blonde peroxided hair (i am stereotyping beauty for the sake of shortening the word count here), that spends 3 hours applying makeup ends up believing she is a more worthy member of society than a brunette girl who only spends 10 minutes getting ready.

But what about the impact on men? Basically a girl believes she is hotter than she is because of how well she can apply her makeup. she will strutt around guys like they are nothing to her, that they are below her because they are not on her "attractivness" level. But what happens if you put that same 9/10 into that same room she was strutting in before, minus the makeup? All of a sudden she is a 6/10 at most and is looking quite alike the rest of the average people sharing the room and the attention she received earlier will have dissipated as fast as a guy can ask a girl for her number.

Now that is really interesting! Why is a girl allowed to feel so amazing when in reality she looks ordinary?

Take Miranda kerr for example. To me she is the most beautiful girl on earth, and im sure many other men share that view! But if she looked like herself in this picture (where here makeup is reduced),

I would probably not turn my head twice in public if she walked past. I'm not being nasty here, i'm just saying that makeup makes her prettier which gives her this POWER to treat people however she wants, and this is the unfair advantage.

Men do not have any substitute for makeup. Think about it this way,
again looking at the previous example of a girl who is a natural 6/10.
Line her up next to a male who is also a 6/10 on the attractivness scale. They look great for each other! A perfect couple....!

But hang one a second... gve her an hour to apply some makeup and she becomes a whopping 9/10! all of a sudden that guy before is way below her league and so she can no longer be associated with him. Considering the fact that this 6/10 girl always wears makeup, this pretty much means that she will always be considered better in society than that 6/10 male because of this product she can purchase from the store.

That guy can't do anything to really improve himself. Sure, he can groom himself but nothing can be done to make his face appear more attractive and any attempts in doing so will make him appear feminine. There is really no solid substitute that can make a male person appear a lot more attractive after only 2 hours in front of a mirror. This essentially allows women to overtake men in a purely physical sense and gain power they really shouldn't have as they were not born with it!

Closing off now with a final point. Are men not naturally more attractive if they are able to be deemed "hot" without any artificial aid? They can climb out of bed in the morning and look nearly as fine as they did the night before, whilst the girl they lie next too looks a mess. This is not a sexist post nor a rant from a deranged frustrated male. I am simply pointing out what i would deem an unfair fact of life.

I recently came across a community of men who anonymously discuss their infatuation with animals (other than humans) and their sexual desires towards them.

This was personally a disgusting find for me, but then i decided not to judge too brashly due to my experience and history with all things to do with psychology and biology.

It made me think further about sexual fetishes in general and why there are so many of them, many of which are far-fetched to the average person.

What makes a person for example, aroused by inanimate objects or non-human organisms? It's not in our nature to mate with other organisms, because that would destroy the lineage of said fetishest. The choice or desires to follow the fetishes have to be either psychologically driven or biologically driven.

Make somebody fall in love with you. Using a drug?

I think that it is theoretically possible to one day synthesize a drug that could mimic/replicate, or truly create the feeling of "love" artificially and quickly towards another human being or object.
It would be normal for many people to laugh at the idea, for love is something that many would believe can only come naturally, and over a long process of time. It is something that "can't just be made" because it is "far too complicated" and a gift from the heavens. Love is sacred and many believe it is what makes the world go 'round.

However if you were to look into the science behind the scenes of what love actually is, you will come to realize that it's no way near as amazing as you would have first thought or hoped. So what is love? Well i strongly believe that love is a natural biological mechanism to spur on the survival of the human population. To create strong and powerful bonds between people and family members so that they will not only copulate, but do it in unity. To want to stay with a person and strive to work out with them, give both a couple and their potential offspring a greater chance of survival.Imagine if love didn't exist. Would ANYBODY bother "hooking up"? How would you be expected to stay with a man or woman for the rest of your life if you NEVER loved them? Now you see where i'm getting at!

Love is actually a combination of two chemicals in the brain called Oxytocin and Vasopressin, combined with memory and recognition which activates the production of these chemicals whenever you see the one you "love". Every time you think of or see the person you love, these chemicals float around your brain telling you that you love them. The key to this is that love is CHEMICALS. Natural chemicals which of course with modern technology can be manipulated or recreated.

Look at the famous "love drug" called ecstasy. More importantly, the MDMA. Ok, it doesn't stimulate actual love of course, but it still does something pretty darn amazing. It artificially causes the brain to release its stockpiles of dopamine and seratonin, which are chemicals occurring naturally in the brain. The amazing thing about these two chemicals is that they are strongly linked to feeling infatuated with a person. When you have a crush on another being, your brain releases adrenaline, dopamine and seratonin! That's why people appear to love each other on MDMA, because they are feeling emotions closely resembling the ones you feel when you are hopelessly infatuated and obsessed with another person.

So if ecstasy can manipulate the chemicals of the brain associated with lust, then we're really only 1 step away from manipulating or releasing the chemicals of love. Most chemists would know that chemicals are just different combinations of binders etc. Caffeine in coffee for example is mapped and can be artificially synthesized even though it naturally occurs in coffee beans. So all that is needed is a formula/map of the chemical to recreate it. Surely Oxytocin and Vasopressin aren't THAT complicated. I'm sure it would be a piece of cake to forge them in a lab. Convert the result into a pill, powder or liquid medicine. If i am right, what's stopping its creation?

So what are the dangers and implications of a true LOVE DRUG? Imagine this product was released. So many people unable or desperately looking for love are surely going to flock into chemists and pay thousands of dollars for love in a bottle. But can you imagine the serious social damage and manipulation of having such a powerful tool? Consider this. You love your mother right? Or at least your father, spouse, child, whoever. Now if you really love them, i can guarantee you would almost do ANYTHING to protect and help that person if they are in danger or need. You might even be willing to sacrifice your life for them. You would want to spend every moment you possibly can with them. Love is so beautiful because of that. Who DOESN'T want a person to love them like that? Ok so here we have an ethical dilemma. I can personally tell you that if i had this drug i would be quite enticed or tempted to use it to my own sickening manipulative advantage. Taking control of people i wanted in my life. Say there was a beautiful girl you had a crush on? All you have to do is slip this in her lunch and voila she loves you and wants to spend every moment of her life with you. Of course she wouldn't understand why she suddenly feel deeply in love with some creepy & ugly nerd she'd never even noticed before but why would she care, because you are her one and only, everything now. What's There would have to be rules set in place by law to regulate how this drug can be used. Perhaps people would have to sign a discourse for its usage. Who knows. How would you regulate it? The overall fact of the matter however is that there are always abusers out there. With love it seems like a dream come true.

Of course love has levels. Perhaps the love drug would help to boost love or trigger love, but love can diminish over time without effort. On top of that, love generally takes long periods of time to develop. To fall in love with somebody over night may still produce love of a "poorer" quality so to speak than if that love had been developed over a year long period. Because there would be memories and other emotions that will have been groomed over that period.
Administering the love drug is an interesting question to raise as well. Say you laced a target person's drink with the intention of them falling in love with you. Of course the drug will produce the love chemicals in their brain that were not there before, but with no real direction. This person could potentially be walking around with a love chemical overload, perhaps falling in love with everybody? Perhaps thus it would only work if you were to administer the drug, and then spend a night or whatever alone, just the two of you. So the brain focuses the image of you, with love triggering love only toward the administerer of the drug. Perhaps it would be a more complicated process of therapy whereby the person who takes the love drug is shown images, videos and is forced to communicate verbally with the administerer of the drug until the "victim" falls in love.

Have a long hard think about this. Of the dangers in its use, of how people in power could be manipulated. how that ugly loser psychopathic maniac some how "seduces" the most beautiful princess of his state. It could quite possibly throw the world into disarray. In fact most likely.

Surely i am not the first person to think about this? It could even exist already! Perhaps as a chemical weapon of spy warfare. Perhaps governments or powerful organizations have created the drug secretly but have realized the potential of world chaos, resorting in them to destroy the drug or hide it from society, never to be released. How can something so wonderful, beautiful and amazing have so much potential to ruin the planet?

It boggles the mind.

Is Obama in risk of presidential assasination?

Barack Obama is going to be the first black president. There is no doubt about that. Sure, the elections are yet to come and he could "perhaps" be defeated by another candidate hypothetically speaking. But the truth is that you and I both know that Barack Obama is going to win. So no more of this "maybe" bullshit for now. Well at least assume for now, for the sake of this blog, that he will reign supreme. Although to not assume so already leads to an assumption that your divine intuition of the future is lacking.Just look at the social dynamics of the United states, the new generation of educated people in a time of wanting of change, looking for new and intuitive ways to make this world a better, safer more exciting place. Obama is thus in line to meet these hopes just like in any generation.

So when he's president - we can expect a change in global and political dynamics can we not? The black people of the united states have faced a lot of suppression/oppression over the years since their days as cotton picking slaves of the white & careless settlers of many years ago, and still face a definite dichotomy in the current American society. There is still a social hierarchy division between the black & white. Calling up evidence for this can be done in your own time if you choose to disagree.

The States will have a black man ruling for president. Before i continue i want to make it clear that I am no racist, infact i support Obama despite being an Australian citizen viewing the presidential candidacy from a foreign sideline (one in which is not shrouded by America's lying media - the only window of news provided to most US citizens). Anyway back to where i was going - "black" president = different. Difference create change, some of which elevates emotions, opinions and actions that are also different or out of the norm.

Where does that change take us then? Ultimately it will lead to something we cannot fathom until it actually occurs. J.F Kennedy anyone? I hope for Obama's sake that they up the security for his well being. You see, many long lasting traditions including footholds in power will be disrupted. No longer will that "white guy" who is head of some enormous american organization be able to continue his complete disregard for the rest of the human population when Obama comes in to wipe his ass off the pavement. But what does that do to those people in power? They will rise as they do not long for any such such change to what makes them happy, and with all their power they have the ability to stand up to it. Rise up and create havoc. Havoc behind the lines so that you or I will never be completely aware for all we see is what the media presents us with, but that does not allow for the denial of it being there.

One day a patriotic psycopath (patriotism in regards to what he loves, not his country itself) will decide to do something crazy. He will aim for Obama's head. Pulling the trigger in his madness. No denying it for its controversy or fear of demonstrating ones own hidden desires, making them wait patiently in secrecy until their final mission is up.

What will happen then? Only time will tell.

GTA IV (4) PS3 vs. Xbox 360

Putting fanboism aside, the comparison needs to be made neutrally without any bias whatsoever.

It has notably been claimed by Ign that Ps3's version is better in relation to graphics whilst the 360 version comes out on top in regards to the extra content. Having a look myself, me and a friend made a comparision because we both own one of each consoles (I will not mention which I own) and we made side by side comparisons in a controlled environment.

The interesting thing is we noticed very little difference! Quite obscure, only a real die-hard fanboy would really notice and in that case ps3 comes a liuttle on top but only a little, and this is also based on personal oppinion on what makes "good" graphics. Both are good in their own way.

All i wish is that the online multiplayer was played between both consoles. Then we could at last release our fanboy hate onto each other in epic battles for our holy console of choice.

Buit seriously, just get over the whole comparison garbage. It's an amazing game either way. Ps3 deserves better graphics anyway. Ps3's cost much more and they miss out on the lovely 360 extra content.

This is for the so called"safety" of our children, but does it really save them at all? The cost involved is massive, and the technology will be bypassed eventually anyway. What a waste of an investment.

Not the mention the fact that we are edgeing dangerously toward a very communist style of national manipulation. Denying people access to materials is liek denying them their freedom and rights. Look how poorly informed the chinese are of the ouside world due to their internet filtering.

Parents should be the ones in charge of monitoring their children, why should the rest of Australian internet users suffer because some lazy paranoid and complaining parents don't know how to keep their children in line?

Honestly, watching the news and hearing those parents in favour of such outlandish ideals makes me want to die. They are the typical over sensitive parents who, and don't realise meanwhile that their children hate their parents for being so controlling.

Remember when you were at school? You would remember that kid that always had the healthiest, boring lunchbox, with the parents who wouldn't let them go out past 5pm, those who weren't allowed to hang out or catch the bus because the parents were scared for their safety. The child who wore boring conservative clothes and was scared to break any rules or have any friends.

The parents of these children didn't realise that they were raising a child in a life of misery, turning them into the schoolyard victim not to mention the fact that they were or are raising another generation of boring people. The main issue is that many of these kids "break out" of their parents hold in an attempt to live a normal life or rebel against the shackles, but often doing so through drinking and crime. I have witnessed this personally.

I have been in favour of the Labor government for some time, but this has got to be the first of many Sh*t policies we're going to come across. I'm seriously disappointed.

Heath Ledger dies at age 28 - star of Brokeback mountain

Australian born actor - Heath Ledger has just died in his new York residence, found by his house keeper at 3:35pm NYT. His death is believed to have been caused by an overdose in sleeping pills as many pills were found around his body, and so far does not seem to be trauma related. Autopsies and other investigations are sure to set this assumption into stone.

His death affects the Australian community for he played a big contribution to Australia's growing export of rising stars and talents. He will surely be remembered, especially for his controversial role in homosexual film Brokeback mountain with star Jake Gyllenhaal.

His death has come as a great shock, not only due to his young age and pretty boy image, but because he is the type of person that does not seem to have deserved such a sudden and early ending. His track record is fairly clean, he was simply an actor making a living from roles that many other men did not want to do. A similar situation to that of Steve Irwin's, it seems that Mr.Death has no disposition to aim for just the unworthy when taking lives away.

R.I.P - this blog shall stay up until the death of the internet commemorating such a sad event in the celebrity kingdom.

Porn of the future?

Do you ever wonder how pornography will change in accordance with changes in society and especially technology?

There are already accounts of porn directors refusing to switch to high-definition media formats such as Sony's bluray because of the fact that the definition is JUST TOO HIGH. Apparently you can zoom in too far, the quality is too good so that you can see all the imperfections of the porno actresses such as skin blemishes, moles or hair. You can see that the porn star isn't quite as perfect as you had originally assumed. Makeup seems to only work well when it's not right up in your face where you can notice what it's covering up.

Eventually someone will catch onto the idea that this high definition quality could be a good thing and use it to their advantage. Perhaps selling under the motto: "you can see EVERYTHING". Allowing you to zoom right in onto the "action", perhaps filming intentionally to meet this purpose.

Another thing is virtual reality, which is only going to get better, perhaps so much so that the line between porn and reality becomes blurred. If we advance far enough into the star trek future, the holographic programs allow for virtually real scenarios, one of which would be a sex scene with a supermodel or whatever or whomever else you may like. Basic forms of this virtual reality exist or are in development. Such as a device you rig up with your tv to stimulate the feelings associated with the scene on the telivision and the "real thing". Still primitive, but it's a start!

There are even online communities or "games" as they like to put it, where you download a programs that is very similar to the child's game for PC called the sims. You have an online character/profile whom you navigate around the environment (which usually consists of a strip club) and initiate virtual sexual activities with the other players. Although the female population of this game i assume is 0 to none, perhaps one day females will begin to enjoy and take on the same experiences as guys. Realistically speaking though, this is unlikely for it is socially and biologically harder for females to desire this kinds of stimulation. People forget that just like animals, females are the ones who "wait" for it to come to them. This leaves only those who cannot seem to attract a mate ie. fat chicks or ugly ones to do the pursuing. Sometimes i wish it wasn't like that but it really only seems logical that the best girls take more work to earn.

So we can only really predict based on current trends for the future of porn, but i think we're in for quite a big "ride".

On a side note, i'd like to mention the false family name of "Delaney" branded to Corey by the media, was this for his own protection/privacy or was it a genuine mistake?

Regardless, i couldn't stop laughing at the interviews he has had on Australian television network win current affair, with his disregard for all the community.. Leila McKinnen sure showed some emotion, but i seem to find this "anger" slightly exagerrated and if not then hypocritical as we all know about her blowing incident. HAHA! Good stuff Corey. I held a party once also that had unexpected "guests" and can understand your pain.

Japanese whalers kidnapping Australian Greenpeace

I'm not sure if this is news for people outside of Australia and japan, but between these two countries it is definitely a heated issue, creating national tension down under and up in the pacific. Stability between the two nations should stay the same in my oppinion. To compeletly sever diplomatic relations over this would seem overkill in my oppinion but we will see.

The scenario basically is as follows: the Japanese whalers are hunting far south of Australia out of their own territorial waters, collecting minke and humpback whales for "research" purposes. Greenpeace and other environmental activists are doing the usual yearly protest of sending down their own ships (one marked as the "irwin" named after Steve Irwin & his animal saving deeds), branded pirate flags and all, to intercept the Japanese fleet in what would seem a way to discourage the Japanese whalers to stop whaling. I don't understand how it would stop them, it hasn't in the past, this perhaps may explain this year's change in methods from the protestors...

Only a few days ago, the Greenpeace fleet had two young men (one new zealander, one Australian) board the Nishin Maru 2. The fairly infamous name of the Japanese whaling ship often broadcast on the local australian television networks.

The pair were instantly detained, tied up and held captive. The heroes became victims. It's quite scary if u take a step back, to be detained is something that reminds me of war time. That would explain the Australian outcry.

Now this is where it's funny for me to view this situation from a different perspective to most people, because i am a rare breed consisting of half jap/aus blood and have strong links with both cutures. I was born in japan, but raised in Australia my whole life, I bare an aussie accent, am a dual citizen and have only white friends with white australian ideals, my dad loves a stubby and to sit in front of the telly. I do make frequent trips to the land of the rising sun however, my other motherland.

I see the move itself by the 2 activists as somewhat stupid because it's not very ideal to board a ship, especially when coming from a ship bearing a pirate flag, and also assuming the Japanese of these ships are of the lesser intelligent of the nation (assumption based on the level of work fishing is socially and mentally) which would result in what i would guess to be a higher level of aggression and representation of the mental contemplation of the men working on the whaling fleet. A sort of subtle hatred toward the Australian protesters whom i also assume have some subtle racism toward the Japanese which would stem from their job also.

It was kind wrong to board the ship so it seems, illegal in most senses, but then are the Japanese being legal in their doings? Technically yes for they are not breaking any laws, but morally speaking, they seem to be lying an awful lot, or covering their behavior under the name of "research". Shipping outside their territory is what seems the be one of the bigger issues. If it was within their water, it would no longer be Australia's problem.

The Japanese are being very stubborn. Whaling really has no proper cause backing it whatsoever. Nobody i met in japan even ate whale, it's only a minority of those "proud" types who eat it because they have to do so in the name of their culture and values and support for Japanese history. A willingniss to not give into international demand is apart of this pride. Most people in the nation would surprisingly to most western belief, want to stop the whaling completely, not only for the good of their nation politically, but because japan is obsessed with all things "cute". whales fall into that category. The japs are often stereotyped as being cruel to animals, but truth be told, they love animals. It saddens me to see that most people perceive them differently, but try going to a country before judging them and then i'll take that crap!

I'm not really going to come to any conclusion in this blog. I am in support of a ceasing in whaling, but that is because i have done the research and study biology in my degree. There are no gains from the activity of whaling. Killing for food is ok in my opinion, every meat eater does it. But when you don't need the meet and the animal in question is endangered, then why slaughter it? Japan can lose so much if they don't cease it as such, besides, whaling is going to cease eventually anyway, why not stop now?

It would sadden me deeply to see relations between my two favourite nations damaged. We have worked so hard to create the international ties. It is stupid for them to be so damaged by whaling, but that's the way it is going to be. I just want the Japanese to start the process towards stopping whaling, and then the Australians to quit the racial hatred following.

Australia is subtly quite racist (you can't tell me it isn't) for i have grown up witnessing it. Funnily not on myself but toward others. But that is another issue all together, and every nation has its problems to fix.
